The Summerhouse that Donna's Friends Envy

Many of customers bought Tiger buildings during lockdown as a way to make their gardens nicer places to be. And like thousands of our customers across the country, Donna Holmes bought her 7x7 Vista Corner Summerhouse back in April 2020 – during the first lockdown. Donna and her husband wanted a place to spend time with family. But in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, she says the Summerhouse became “a small place of calm” amid the chaos of a busy household. Even after lockdown, Donna finds the Summerhouse leads her to spend more time in the garden. And we don't blame her considering how good she's made it look...
What drove Donna to choose Tiger?
Donna says, “We chose Tiger as we wanted good quality at an affordable price – and we weren’t disappointed.”
How do she and her family use their Summerhouse?
“We use it mostly on weekends for some peace and quiet and quality time together. I also use it as a place to read and get away from it all.”
We love the stylish pastel-coloured chairs. What inspired Donna to decorate it in this way?
"We were going for a retro look inside but ended up with a more pastel interior. I wanted the inside to be pretty and girly. "We chose to varnish the outside rather than paint as we were looking for a long-lasting varnish. We didn’t want to be having to recoat every year and found the Sadolin varnish we used was right for us."
Was the Summerhouse easy to assemble?
"We were in the first lockdown, so having someone else erect it for us wasn’t an option. "Fortunately for me, my husband is very good at things like that and it went up relatively easy over a few hours. We didn’t feel the need to add any accessories to our purchase."
Is Donna happy with how it turned out?
"Ooh, yes - we love the way it turned out. We now find we use our garden a lot more and like nothing more than sitting in there when it's raining. "Friends and family have also paid us lots of compliments. One friend recently purchased the same one for her garden after seeing ours!"
