Published: 31/03/2016
Are you and your shed stuck in a rut? Then keep on reading to find out how you and your shed can fall back in love! Spring is the perfect time to rescue and reinvent your garden shed ready for all those outdoor parties! So we've pulled together 5 simple tips on how you and your shed can fall back in love!
1. Set aside time to clear and tidy.
Check the weather and choose a nice sunny day to do this so you can enjoy it rather than it feeling like a chore. If you find items that you no longer use then why not make money from them? You could sell them on Ebay or a more location based platform like Paperclip! Donating unwanted items to charity is also a great way to clear things out and feel good about it! Emmaus is a fantastic charity which are working towards ending homelessness. They accept furniture, electrical items and clothing. If some of your items are a little battered and worn then they may be able to spruce it up in their workshops, so make sure to check out their website here.
2. Give your shed a whole new look.
Before picking up any paint or decor consider how you want to use your shed as this will effect how you then decorate. If you're not too sure on what to transform your shed into then here are some inspiring ideas:
- Doggy Grooming Salon
- Spa Spot
- Shed Sheds and Man Caves
- Japanese Tea Room
- Classroom
- Office

- Yoga Room

After you've applied the treatment and allowed enough time for it to dry properly you can then give your shed a splash of colour. Paint is a really easy way to spruce up a garden shed and bring some life to your whole garden!
