A deep dark petrol blue like the darkest sky at night. This stunning blue is a very popular shade for modern design and would look striking on a front door and other wood products.
Easy to use with a high-build formulation that enhances the wood grain and resists fading. One coat will produce a translucent finish allowing the wood grain to really show through. A 2nd coat increases the opacity giving a richer deeper colour and a 3rd coat will produce a hard gloss finish.
This is a high quality, decorative wood paint. The colour is a contemporary classic and fits perfectly with modern design. Its unique formulation is a water-based acrylic and alkyd hybrid that incorporates a polyurethane dispersion based on linseed oil. It is ideal for use on exterior wooden windows, doors, conservatories, summerhouses, gates, cladding, and garden furniture.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the tin. Mix thoroughly before and periodically during use. Apply with a good quality synthetic bristle brush, microfibre roller or low-pressure spray gun. It is recommended that 2 coats be applied, with a 3rd coat if a deeper colour is required. Allow 2-4 hours drying time between coats. Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or if wet weather is expected within 48 hours. Do not apply to wet, damp, or frozen timber. Maintain every 2 - 5 years or as required by cleaning the surface of the wood and following the preparation and application instructions given.
This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our TigerSkin Preserver ++ first.
Swatches shown are as representative as possible. Colour may vary according to application, surface condition and light quality. If ordered on its own, without a garden building, a courier charge may apply.
