We had been looking for a replacement for our old summer house for some time and the Siberian 12'8' seemed ideal. We had an existing concrete base but decided to lay some tantalized bearers to add a little more protection under the floor. The build was easy with the exception of the door and frame. The addition of a diagram here would have avoided a short delay while we worked things out. This is a simple build that could be carried out by one person with the exception of the placement of the doors. We had chosen to upgrade to double glazing and this makes the door assembly very heavy. You may need three people to safely put the doors in place. The whole order to delivery was smooth. The driver couldn't have been more helpful in placing the kit on our driveway ready for us to open and cart it through to the top of the garden. With regards to the unpacking, the nails used to keep the packing in place are fired right into wood that is used to secure the plastic wrap. This means that you will need a good, sharp crowbar to remove these. Take care to remove every nail or you can catch your hand on them when handling the individual parts.

As all the other reviews an excellent buy. Much easier to put up than I thought, with the coach bolts it was a wheeze. With them and my wife leading a hand we put it up in a morning. We had a properly laid base that I'm sure made all the difference.

Purchased an 8x6 overlap shed. Very pleased with the service received from Tiger sheds. Delivery made on time as indicated when ordered and very helpful driver putting shed exactly where I wanted it. Shed was very easy to erect and was completed in approx 3 hours from start to finish. My only gripe with the product is that when fitting the windows the 2 outer extremities do not lay flat against the surface of the window therefore leaving gaps that need to be filled every couple of inches. Other than that a very good product and definately worth considering.

I would definatly recommend tiger sheds, I ordered the 7x5 pent shed in the sale and it was delivered on day 14.they also kept me d with emails and I would recommend to my friends. I would also like to say the build quality is to a high standard. the delivery driver was very helpful too. well done tiger sheds.

Five stars for product and customer after care but not without problems. This is the downside. The cabin took 32 days to arrive. The roof did not fit the gable end cutouts as the roof spars were fixed in the wrong place. I rectified this by moving the spars but as they are fixed with dozens of staples this left two rows of staple holes visible in the roof both inside the cabin and outside in the porch overhang. The window catch was broken. The key was missing for the door lock. Contacting anyone in the first 25 days by phone was very difficult as no one seemed to answer. The upside. Everyone at Tiger was very friendly and helpful. Once my cabin arrived it was very easy to contact customer services by phone or email !!? The problems were sorted out very quickly and efficiently and Tiger did offer to send new gable ends but as the weather window was good I wanted to crack on with the build - up to this point the cabin was built to roof height. The cabin build was extremely easy. Better to follow the pictorial instructions rather than the written. It only took me 2 hours to get the walls and roof on and this was on my own. The roof panels are large and heavy so x 2 people would be better to lift these. The floor is already made up and I placed this on a wood bearer frame with adjustable heavy duty feet that made leveling the base so easy. I recommend this method. If your floor is not 100% level you will regret this when you come to fit the doors and windows so do make sure that it is so. The cabin dimensions provided on the website in the Floor plan are accurate and I built the floor bearer frame to these and it was spot on. I ordered the red felt tiles and these look amazing and ooze quality. So much better than a black felt sheeted roof. The instructions advise that a felt underlay is not required below the tiles but I fitted one and would again recommend this route. Felt underlay can be bought in a 3m x 1m roll for £22 from B&Q The quality of the cabin is top notch and there was no damage to the logs. These are tongue and groove so I was relieved to see that were not damaged. I pretreated the outside of the cabin walls, window and doors with Cuprinol Wood Preserver at a cost of £45 Bit pricey but worth it. This is like a very thin liquid so goes on easy. Instructions on can says allow 2 - 5 days to dry but it dried after one night. I finished off with Cuprinol paint - Country White and Mapleleaf (green) for the highlights. 2 x coats. Guttering was fitted to finish off. Overall the finished look is fantastic with the Georgian windows and doors in contrasting colours. So, in conclusion, I think it was well worth spending the money on this type pf cabin over a garden shed as it is now a feature in my garden and all my neighbours have commented on my 'posh shed'. Apart from the teething issues at the start, I would recommend Tiger Cabins for this price bracket.

Really happy with this shed - so much better quality than your average DIY store overlap shed so definitely worth the money. Bit of confusion over delivery arrangements and took over three weeks as opposed to the 15 day estimate, however I have still gone ahead and ordered another shed for my daughter because other than the time factor, I am completely satisfied with the product. Delivery was exactly at specified time, driver telephoned to say he was on his way and delivered the shed in good condition - thank you for that.
